Am I at risk of diabetes?
So, I'm 11 - 14 (yea, i know, there are age restrictions here; but i need to ask this) and I think I have some diabetes symptoms?
For the past years, I have been eating junk foods, soft drinks, sweets, chocolates, etc. and suddenly this year, I noticed I loose some weight. I don't know why, because I still take junk foods, soft drinks, etc. And I always want to eat/drink something.
Sometimes I don't see clearly, but that changes from day to day.
And I don't regularly exercise.
I'm worried now, because I'm only a kid and I'm sooo young to be diabetic.
Please help, and what should I do now?

Unfortunately we're all too young to have diabetes :/
Eating too much sugar and junk food does not cause diabetes - however being overweight increases ur changes of type2. Type 1 is caused by an autoimmune response and is more likely to occur (but not restricted ) to ur age group. If its type 1 then you will know it very soon as the glucose just keeps on building up in ur blood till ur cells starve and u fall into a coma :/
By the sound of it, I'd say its more likely u r going through a growth spurt and might need glasses but if you are concerned definitely talk to ur parents and get a doc appt
i notice that when i was first dignosed i hade those symptoms but i got to thirsty all the tim so i went to the hospital and they dignosed me its very likly now adays to have diabetes
Change your diet and exercise... why would you not do the things you need to do if you can see what your currently doing is potentially harming you?? Please put your brain to use. Do the right things.
