Can my husbands hot flashes after morning shower be related to diabetes?
Hello,My husband has had type 1 for abot 7 years (he is 35) and has recently started having severe hot flashes with sweating after his a.m. shower.
Anyone with similar symptoms? I can't find much on Web searches.
Also, he gets bad leg cramps at night, any ideas on this?

It could be his diabetes, it could be something else going on. I would have him visit his doctor for blood work.
The leg cramps could be from the diabetes or from restriction in his arteries. He should seek his doctor about the cramps. I don't know about the hot flashes. What happens if he takes the shower before bed? Also I read an article that said if you put a bar of soap in the bed it will stop the cramps(sounds crazy to me too)
