Does it sound to you like I have diabetes?

I'll try to keep this as short as possible.

Some time at the beginning of January, I began experiencing frequent urination. no frequent thirst. no frequent hunger. Just frequent urination. I went to the doctor to get blood/urine done and the results came back like this.

HbA1c - 5.7
Urine Tests were negative glucose or infections of any sort.
Blood sugar was 83.

Doctor told me to lay off sweets for a month or so. I went back to get bloodwork done in the beginning of March.

The results were this.

A1c - 6.1
Urine tests negative again.
Blood sugar again was just 83.

I didn't know carbs (which I ate A LOT of) raised blood sugar so I guess that can explain the a1c increase? Either I was eating too many carbs (which I wouldn't be surprised of) or I have insulin intolerance (diabetes I'm assuming). So, my doctor put me on a low-carb diet and I've been on it since then. I eat 10-30 carbs a day, with my intention being to eat 20 on average.

I'm 16. I'm 6'1" and weighed 181. I hadn't had any dramatic/noticeable weight loss/gain until I started the diet. Now I'm 174, which was expected. I still have frequent urination but no other surefire diabetes symptoms. I'm never drowsy or overly thirsty or have blurry vision or any of that.

My problems are pretty much all confined to my genital area. One day, I even experienced some pain in the space between my "sack" and my anus once (whatever that space is called). And one time, I experience some mild pain in my penis/scrotum right AFTER I was done peeing, not during. I don't wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom either. I pretty much just go once every hour or two when I'm awake, it's never a lot. Just a moderate amount. And it's always light light yellow.
